All archtops are built to order and are highly customizable to individual preference.  In every case I always select the best woods available for each instrument no matter the price point. 

 I am comfortable working with a variety of woods from the tried and true maple/spruce combo to many exotic and domestic alternatives.  There is quite a lot of unexplored acoustic territory associated with previously unused tone woods.  I feel that now is the perfect time to establish some alternative woods as viable standards.   Materials Page.
